Now that the hurricane season is in full effect, it starts getting more and more difficult to predict the weather.  Which is important when your couple is traveling all the way from Gainesville for their beach engagement session, you want to be pretty certain it won’t get rained out!  [...as much as I would love to do an engagement session in the rain, I'm not sure that most couples share that same affinity of getting wet, haha.] Luckily it all worked out and not a drop of rain.  Let’s hope for the same great weather (minus the heat & humidity) for their march wedding on the west coast of Florida.

We decided to do Hallie and Nevin’s engagement photos at their future wedding venue, The Moorings!  Since their wedding is in December, we weren’t sure if the weather would cooperate and thought it’d be nice to get some photos of them around the beautiful property.  These two are cuties, and you can’t even tell that we were all dying of heat exhaustion.  Looking forward to your wedding and some cooler days in December, that’s for sure!

For Nicki & Tim’s engagement session we decided to venture into the Indian River and shoot their photos on an island.  Luckily Chrissy’s other half was available to shuttle us out in their boat!  After rescheduling this session for the 3rd time (due to weather issues), we fiiiiiiinally had a lovely evening on the river and got some great shots of Nicki & Tim.  Wedding time is quickly approaching, it’s less than 2 months away!

This “bubbly” couple from Virginia is having their destination wedding in the Fall here at the Vero Beach Hotel & Spa.  Since they are from out of state, she had a busy weekend of getting things prepared for their wedding day, and on that list was their beach engagement photos!  By the end of the shoot, the sunset turned this vibrant pinkish-purply color, and we were happy they were willing to get their feet wet for the photos : )
